project
To innovate means giving back to the world
Our name comes from afar, but our company, founded in 2015, looks to the future with ambition and innovation. Antigori, in Sardinian language “place of ancient things”, is the name of one of the most important nuraghes of Sardinia, whose construction dates back to the second millennium B.C. and is a few hundred meters from Baccalamanza in Capoterra, headquarters of our company.

terroir
A land called “amazement”
The Antigori estate extends for over 190 hectares, of which 13.5 hectares of vineyards, between the slopes that lead from the mountain to the sea, in that territory that was formerly called Su Spantu, in Sardinian language “amazement”, for its beauty.
An incredible
wealth of biodiversity
It’s incredible to enter the Antigori estate: on one side there is the sea, on the other there are forests that climb up the mountains. In the middle, there are the vineyards and the winery, surrounded by a great wealth of flora and fauna. Not far away are the remains of the ancient Nuragic civilization.

THE STORY
The new chapter of a great story
Antigori was born today in the territory that, between the years 40 and 60, was the estate Cardile, soon became an example of modernity and advanced management. At the time, the farm had 1,200 hectares: it was the largest in Italy. The company used state-of-the-art methods, both in cultivation and in the management of relations with the farmers and the staff of the estate. It was the result of the dream of a visionary entrepreneur, the engineer Cardile.
PRODUCTS
The wines of the Antigori winery
The Antigori product catalogue offers only organic wines from native Sardinian vines
The winecellar
The winecellar is housed in the company’s central building, entirely built in stone and wood, starting from the old typical “campidanesi” houses. All processes take place here, from the selection and de-stemming of the grapes harvested by hand to the maceration in steel or cement tanks, up to bottling.
